Based in Bridgewater, New Jersey, Steven Darien serves as the chairman and chief executive officer of the Cabot Advisory Group, LLC, through which he provides strategic advice to companies in areas such as human resources and personnel management. Outside of his work life, Steven Darien is the board chairman of the George Street Playhouse.
In June 2017, the George Street Playhouse moved to its interim location in the former Agricultural Museum of New Jersey, where it will present the entirety of its next two production seasons while construction of its new facility takes place. The interim playhouse is at 103 College Farm Road in New Brunswick, approximately two miles away from its former location. Season ticket holders for the old facility will find their new seats on par with their current seating locations, and they will also receive the first opportunity to purchase new seats when the new facility opens.
A total of 10 plays will be presented over two seasons at the College Farm location. The New Brunswick Performing Arts Center is scheduled for completion in 2019, at which point the George Street Playhouse will move its operations there.
