Prior to his work with the Cabot Advisory Group, LLC, Steven M. Darien studied economics at Rutgers University in New Jersey. While a student, Steven M. Darien was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity, serving on its Inter-fraternity Council Drill Team.
A Jewish fraternity that focuses on athletic, academic, and social achievement, Alpha Epsilon Pi also develops the future leaders of the Jewish community. To attain membership to the Rutgers University fraternity, students must complete a minimum of 12 credits at Rutgers, none of which may come from AP credits. Applicants must also be full-time Rutgers students who maintain a grade point average of 2.50.
Upon joining, fraternity brothers are required to complete a minimum of five hours community service per semester, as well as attend the chapter’s weekly meetings. Beyond this, members should carry themselves in a manner that is representative of the professionalism that both Rutgers University and the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity espouse.
